(10pm) Today was a lazy day of vegging out in front of the tv.
Today it got up to 99.
It looks like there is a hurricane headed for the Texas coast. (Maybe my sister and Bill will have some work soon.)

(7am) Stuart said that Edward had a knack for picking bad business partners. (Maybe that is where the money went to?) (He said Edward seemed to pick people who would fail, so he would have someone to blame for his own failures.)
(5pm) It hit 99 again today. (This is getting tiresome!)
Today my sister and I went to the Cowboy Hall of Fame and wandered around OK City. (The Hall of Fame has a great art gallery!) (The bombing site downtown has changed a little. (They are building a memorial now.))
I still cant get into the Midwest.
It has been so dry all through here that the humidity has been low. (I am glad its low, for my sake; but they need rain.)
It has been real dry in Montana also. (There was one day a few weeks ago that 80 fires started.) (The trail I normally hike has been closed for a couple weeks because of extreme fire danger. (Fortunately the few days before I left were cooler and wet.))
(11pm) We dug out the old 8mm movie projector (I am amazed that antique still works!) tonite and watched a bunch of old family movies. (It would be nice to get them converted to videotape.) (I have forgotten that part of my life and those films are the only reminders left.)
That hurricane made landfall in an isolated stretch of coastline, so my sister and Bill wont get any work out of that storm.

(9am) On the road again.
OK City is trying to spiff itself up. (They are building a canal system downtown and sell boat rides, but its only a couple miles long so far.) (They have also been renovating the brick yard section of downtown.)
Bill told me an interesting story about a group called the Travelers. (They are a group of Irish con men and women. (It sounds like a very tight group who train their children from birth to run scams.) (I can relate to the romantic aspect of Robin Hood, but it sounds like they primarily prey on the poor and elderly.))
