My sister says my dad considered smoking pot to deal with his glaucoma, but decided to follow the doctors advice and have surgery. (Since that surgery is the most likely cause of the stroke, he would have been better off choosing the herbal route.)
I had thought about stopping in Taos this year. They are predicting scattered thunder showers through New Mexico and Arizona, so I have decided to just head on for Kingman. (Or, maybe, I am just burned out on spending time with people, and I am using the rain as an excuse to be alone?)

It has been very hot and dry so far today. (I bought a second bag of ice for the cooler, since the first had already melted.)
Fortunately the wind hasnt been tossing me around across this stretch like last year.
