According to the tv, the wind chill is –32 now. (Brr!) (I am glad I have a home!) (I wish there was someone to snuggle up with!)

(6am) A new month to explore!
The tv says it’s –44.
My windows are all frosted over and I can’t see out.
(7am) I am not looking forward to the hike to work! (Maybe it isn’t as bad as it sounds.)
No newspaper yet. (Annoying, but I can’t blame them!)
(5pm) Well, I overdressed and ended up sweating on my way to work and back.
(7pm) I stopped by Erica’s and tried to fix a window that was stuck open. (Tis better than it was, but it’s too cold to get it the rest of the way.)
Artie stopped by looking for Erica. (I wish I could like him, but I just can’t. (I think it’s envy. He has gotten to spend more time with and be lovers with so many of the women in my life, it gets to me.)) (He is a far superior person than me!) (He reminds me of what a total failure I am!) (One event that effected my feelings about him happened one nite at the Paw. He sat there smiling while Ian attacked Carrie. I was the one who got in between them and took Ian’s punches. (She went home with him though. (He was good enough to be her lover and I wasn’t, so he is obviously superior to me.)))
D O thinks she wants outside. (Silly kitty!)
(9pm) Tis still blowing hard outside! (Amazing!)
This place is really noisy in a winter storm! (Annoying!)
I am missing the stereo tonite! (Hopefully they will get it fixed soon!)

(9am) Well, it’s –73 but I walked to work anyway. When I got there they told me City Hall is closed today.
