(4pm) Erica stopped by this morning and brought me breakfast. (Neat!)
She says Henry is already dating someone. (Not taking time to resolve the anger before moving on to another relationship probably isn't a good idea.) (It does suggest another possibility though. If he has found someone this quickly, maybe he was already dating her? (Maybe his anger is just a cover story, hiding the fact that he was having an affair and is really happy for the opportunity to drop Erica and move on with the other woman?))
She is still holding stuff in and refusing help from others. (A lot of the healing does have to come from within oneself, for oneself; but we all need a little help from our family and friends. (Most of my journey has been traveled alone, but I wouldn’t have come this far without help from my women friends!))
The dentist just finished with me for a few months. (Tis a relief to have finally taken care of that chore!)
(5pm) Ultimately, all that any of us can do is to keep moving on and try to make ourselves into better people. (Getting trapped in the past is to ignore why we are here.)
Erica bugged me again about the way I chew gum. (I do get into it!) (I really don’t chew that much gum, and when I do it’s only for ten minutes or so.)-(She notices it because smoke gives me dry mouth, and I chew some gum afterwards to get the saliva going again.)
Dealing with smokers hasn’t been much of a problem so far. (I do miss the time in the break room though.) (Not many smokers stop by here and I don’t go out.) (Hopefully I will be able to get over this soon!)
I needed to start opening the closet door and running the fan in the grow room, so I picked up a heavy blanket to cover the bedroom window and keep the lite in. I also got some tape and covered the keyhole on the bedroom door so that lite doesn’t shine out into the living room anymore.
I also picked up some more winter socks. (Tis time to begin preparing for winter!)
(6pm) Erica stopped in for a brew. (Neat!)
She says she is getting back into an exercise program. (Good for her!)
I think part of why I have gained weight since starting work is that now I can afford food and beer. (Not exercising as much is another big part of it!)
She says her hands are bothering her again. (Carpal tunnel sounds like a real drag!)-(I worry about getting it. (My sister says it’s hereditary and several of our relatives have had that problem.))
