She says she found a place. (She says it isn’t much, but it will do for now and she can find something better next spring when the kids leave.)

I suggested that Erica start a journal. (A lot of people find it a useful tool for working through things. (I don’t know why, but writing things down and reading them later tends to help.))
My home computer is starting to get weird. (Annoying!)
Sometimes I like showers, but I haven’t had one in years and I have grown to love baths. (A long hot bath is a nice way to start the day!)
(9pm) The place Erica found is only a block from here, so maybe I will see more of her than I did my other women friends when they were single. (That would be nice!)

(7am) Sometimes time seems to fly, but when I stop and look back it has been full of different experiences and lots of fun moments. (Since my divorce I have had lots of fun times, and gone through a lot of changes! (It has been a good six years!)) (There have been some really black moments too, and times when I contemplated suicide; but I am glad I decided to keep on keeping on!) (Every ending is followed by new beginnings!)
Erica was talking to the kid who lives downstairs. (She says he is a neat kid. (I rarely see him, and the only interaction I had with him was when he tried to crawl out on the roof.)) (Kids are neat!)-(Except for not being able to afford getting involved with someone with kids, it would be nice to be around kids again.)-(Tis a different perspective on life that is worth experiencing!)-(I think kids help adults learn and grow at least as much as adults help kids to learn and grow.)
Miranda was having problems with her legs on yesterday’s walk. (Shin splints plus knee problems.) (She said she considered hitching a ride back town, because the pain got bad.)
(5pm) I sent Erica a flowering plant to try and cheer her up. (The lady at the store said they need a teaspoon of vinegar along with the water once a month. (Maybe that is what I have done wrong in the past with flowering plants?))
Beth says the drug team is working the fair pretty hard. (What a drag!)
(7pm) Erica stopped by and said hi. (Neat!)
Carly just called to say she is coming by with some Chinese food.
(8pm) I am stuffed! (Yum!)
