I must be moving back towards romanticism. (I am beginning to crave one girlfriend rather than several. (I am just not cut out for fucking around.) (I like keeping things simple and sweet in my life and a lot of girlfriends can get complicated and messy. (Getting to know and sharing with one woman is as complex as I want.)))

It has starting to get dark earlier. (I am ready for autumn! (Tis my favorite season!))

(6am) I imagine I will be seeing less of people now that Erica is single. (Tis time for her to heal, party, date and look for a new beau; and I don’t fit into that life.) (I never expect to see my friends when they are single. (e.g., I rarely saw Miranda in between Jeremy and Danny.)-(e.g., the only period when I spent much time with Carrie was when she was dating Hunter.)) (I have got lots of writing and reading projects, and plenty of entertainment here; so I will keep busy until she finds a new beau.) (And, when I need someone to talk to I can always write letters.)
(5pm) I ran into Miranda outside City Hall at lunch and we walked up around Greenough and bs’d. (She says Henry thought she acted angry with him when she went to take care of Erica’s plants, and that Erica got mad at her because of it. (Miranda is mad at him, but she says she didn’t show it.)-(Maybe it showed through unconsciously, or maybe he was projecting his anger on her, or both?) (She says Erica told her it isn’t his fault and to leave him alone. (Tis always true that both contribute to endings, but it’s also natural for people close to Erica to tend to place more blame on him.)-(This is another problem with refusing to talk. It leaves a vacuum into which friends and family pour inaccurate assumptions.)-(Maybe Erica feels it’s none of our business? (She is a big part of both of our lives, and what happens to her has an impact on our lives.))))
She says Erica found an apartment.
She says Danny is going to take me to lunch to repay me for helping with his fish. (That would be nice.)-(He is good people!)
I suppose it’s about time for another haircut.
Today was pretty dreary, other than my walk with Miranda. (I will be glad when this project is done!)
(6pm) Miranda says Erica is having money problems. (It will take awhile to get things figured out.)
She says Henry told her the reason for the break up was that Erica charged stuff on his credit card. (That sounds more like an excuse than a reason. (Like when Jeremy told Miranda he broke up with her because she wanted to get married and he didn’t. (He is already married and Miranda is still single, so that was just an excuse.)))
(7pm) Well, dinner is done for another day.
(8pm) Erica stopped by for a brew. (Neat!)
