(6pm) I ran into Miranda in Greenough at lunch time. (We walked back downtown together and had a nice visit. (I sort of got the feeling she ran into me on purpose, because she had things on her mind.)-(Mostly she was worrying about Erica. She says Erica is extremely depressed and she is still not talking to anyone about it. (Holding it in isn’t going to help anyone or anything! It just makes things worse and delays the beginning of the healing process!))-(Miranda asked me to bug Erica about it until she talks.) (She says she went out to Henry’s yesterday to take care of Erica’s plants, and he acted like nothing had happened.) (She says she had a great time at her high school reunion. (Good for her!)))
(7pm) Miranda said Erica is going to try to move this weekend. (I hope she is able to find a place by then.)
(8pm) D O made it back and now she is taking a nap. (She lost her collar again. (I can’t afford to keep replacing those. (I am glad the Council voted down the cat license idea. (I would spend a fortune on replacement licenses and collars.))))

(6am) I set the alarm so I could do the Club, but couldn’t drag myself out of bed. (Why am I having a problem making it there this summer? (Maybe another sign of withdrawal?))
It might be better for Erica if she stopped looking for a new job and stays where she is at now. (The end of a long term relationship is a time of intense emotional storms and excessive partying that lead to lower productivity, getting to work late, calling in sick, …. (Tis better to stay where people know you and there is sick and vacation time, until the storms pass. (e.g., a new person at the City is on probation and can’t use sick time for three months and they can’t use vacation time for six months.)-(e.g., I changed jobs at the beginning of my divorce and got fired four months later.)))
I will have to start taping tv shows for Erica, until she gets settled in her new place.
(5pm) Busy day!
Erica left a note. (She says the apartment hunting is going slowly.)
(6pm) I fiddled with the plants for awhile and started dinner. (Such a wild and crazy dude. (Ha! (Such a stick in the mud is more like it.)))
The budget went to the printer today. (Yeah!)
Right now I am working on a pretty boring project and studying database programming some more.
(8pm) Cigs alone don’t insure women will avoid me. (Lots of guys who smoke find girlfriends.)-(I have quit for about a year of the past six, and it didn’t change anything.) (I think it all comes down to my personality not fitting the image women are aroused by. (In fact it’s structured to keep people away, and push away those who do get close. (The cigs are just one of a myriad of obnoxious behaviors designed to push women away.)-(Another aspect is that a lot of people misperceive shyness. (e.g., people have told me they perceive me as being rude and stuck up.))))
