(6pm) Well, I spent the afternoon editing poems. (Nice!)
(8pm) Tis a drag the weekend is almost done!
D O made it home around 7pm. (She likes weekends too!)

(7am) Nice workout! (19 days off cost me a few repetitions, but not too bad.)
(5pm) Busy day!
(6pm) The hassles associated with finding smoke are annoying! (Smoke makes celibacy and solitude bearable, but I am out again.) (Oh well, drink more. (Tis more expensive, it tends to bring out negative emotions, and it’s harder on my body; but it will do for now.)
(7pm) One problem with City jobs is they are subject to ending as the result of budgetary constraints or politics. (This year we added people and I think next year will be at least stable, but who knows after that.) (I am letting my vacation time build up as an insurance policy.) (Between the cash out of vacation time, sick time and pension, I would have enough to keep me going for awhile.)

Well, I have mentally prepared myself for running out of smoke. (I will be ok.)
Erica says that Miranda decided not to dump Danny. (He is going through a tough time as it is, and he needs a friend now!)-(And, who knows, maybe they will work it out in time.)-(I think that once things settle down for him emotionally, he will develop the ability to focus on accomplishing more. (He may never be a workaholic, but that may be for the best. (The people who are (I have met a few and been one myself.), tend to be hiding from themselves, don’t develop wholly, and aren’t successful with relationships.)-(Relationships thrive more on time together than on money and things.))
I sent Carrie a card today. (She will probably rip it up and throw it away, but at least I tried.)
