D O created a mess while I was at work. (Oh well!)
I saw Erica today while I was walking back to City Hall from the Parks Department. (She looked pretty glum. (Between guy problems, the clap, endometriosis and not liking her job, she has more than her share of hassles at the moment.))
Twas interesting visiting the Parks Department. (They have quite an operation there.) (Tis easy to forget, sitting in City Hall, just how many people are out on the streets doing all sorts of different things. (The complexity and variety of the work done by local government fascinates me. (One of the nice things about this job is I get to work with all the departments.)))

(8am) I slept in today. (Nice!)
D O got into the plants last nite. (I suppose that is why she let me sleep in.) (Oh well, now I have lots of cuttings and I can start more plants.)
I have sure been horny lately. (Annoying!)
(10am) D O plays with the scratching post, but she doesn't use it for scratching. (Oh well!)
(Noon) Laundry day again. (Such fun!)
(1pm) Charlotte was here when I got home and we bs'd for awhile. (Twas nice seeing her!)-(Yum!)
(2pm) Erica popped in for a visit. (She says Carly lied about her having the clap. (I wonder why Carly did that?)-(I know Carly likes to play games. (I wonder which one she is playing now?)))
(3pm) D O ran out the door when Erica left. (I was worried, but she finally came home.)
I got a letter from Samantha and she says she is happy. (Good for her!)
(4pm) I wonder if I will ever become someone who is good enough for people?
(5pm) I am sure in a blue mood this afternoon.
(7pm) Sharon called and bs'd for an hour or so. (She says she is recovering from another addictive relationship with another alcoholic. (She says he is still driving by her house a lot, but has stopped the threats, calls, visits and violence. (How sad!))) (She invited me to join a volleyball team. I told her a woman at work had invited me to join a team, and it turned out to be the same team. (She says she has known Maddie for years. (She says Maddie is a "real bitch" and to avoid her at all costs.))) (She says she is enjoying living with her daughter, most of the time.) (She still hasn't done anything about getting divorce.)
