In ways, what I have to do now socially is what I did to confront loneliness. (When I began this hermitage being alone was painful and I suffered through a lot of pain. (Eventually though I broke through to where it became pleasurable.))

My pen broke in another spot. I patched it back together, but when money comes along I will have to buy another one. (Tis time for some new stories, so maybe a new pen would be appropriate for telling them.) (I will try to look out for some stories with smiles, for a change. Tis time we heard more of those!))

I had a bunch of anxiety attacks at Ross and Carly's, but I managed to ride them out. (Changing the topic of discussion when one hit seemed to help.) (I don't communicate well during an anxiety attack and it helps to move on to another topic I can cope with.)

(3pm) Nice walk!

I ran into Gwynn on the way home and visited with her a bit. (It sounds like they partied pretty hard again yesterday, and now she has to get in gear with work, school and exercise again.)

(6pm) Erica stopped by and kept me company for awhile. (Tis nice having friends!)

Sharon said the problem with getting a cat at the Humane Society is that they sometimes have diseases. (She suggested checking for ads in the paper, but I think I will go ahead and go to the Humane Society.)

I seem to have a better self-image and I am less insecure, but I still have a long ways to go!

I hope I learn to be a better friend. (Becoming friends with myself will help, I think.)

The past year has been an interesting journey! (And, I am confident the future will hold more moments worth experiencing!)

(10pm) I killed off the rest of the pie and ice cream. (Such a pig!)

From what Gwynn says, her self image is of a heavier her than she is. (I have overcome that somewhat in myself by using the mirror and massage to help clarify my self-image.)

Miranda commented that, since I like aggressive women, I must like the woman in "Fatal attraction". (Based on what I have seen of that in the tv ads, she is a bit too aggressive.) (What I really need to be looking for is an assertive woman, not an aggressive one.)

(11pm) Quiet nite. (Nice!)
