(10pm) Carly called and I went over to visit with her and Ross for a couple of hours. (They had just picked up an old Commodore computer they wanted me to look at. (If they get it running right, it will be a good tool for introducing them to computers; but it's ancient technology.)) (Mostly, Ross played with it and I bs'd in the kitchen with Carly. (She has a degree in teaching, and now she is getting ready to start on picking up one in business; so we talked about business mostly. (I would still like to do her, but I don't think we would get along in a long-term relationship.) (I still get the feeling that Carly thinks that Gwynn and I would make a good couple, but it doesn't bother me since Erica assured me that I have completely turned Gwynn off to me. (My gut feeling is that Gwynn and I wouldn't get along, and Erica agrees.))))

(8am) Another reason to look for women who remind me of Carrie, rather than Erica, is that in the Hat days, when I started feeling anxious or blue, I thought of Carrie walking in the door, in order to cheer myself up. (That is a thought that reassures me. (Back in the Paw days, I always looked forward to Carrie cruising through! (She always made me feel good!)))
(9am) I wonder if it's a coincidence that my letters about two of my three trips to Wallace were missing from the letters Carrie sent me?
(10am) Unless I can find a way to build a relationship that has both forms of intimacy, I will stick with emotional. (My relationship with my ex was high in physical intimacy and the emotional side was almost non-existent; while my relationships with Erica, Carrie, Samantha, …, have been high in emotional intimacy but almost no physical intimacy. (The former was mostly hell, and the latter mostly heaven.)) (I wonder if it's even likely to find both in a relationship? (Most of the relationships I have seen in the last few years seemed to have a high level of one form of intimacy and were low in the other.))
I would still rather come home from the bars alone and write to Erica and Carrie, than do a one nite stand; but maybe that is my phobias again?
