(6pm) My dad called and we visited awhile. (He thinks I should visit with a shrink, to get some input into resolving my problems. (I suppose.))
(10pm) Quiet nite. (I am bored.)
Maybe a shrink would speed up the process? (It would take a lot of time to study enough psychology to figure it all out alone.)
One more day of chili. (I will be glad when that is done. (I enjoy day one, but it's taking a toll on my body.))
Twas nice taking Monday off from Nautilus.
I have increased my walking distances the last five days, and now I have blisters on my feet. (Annoying.)
I suppose that drinking less alcohol is a part of why I am happier now. (I like to drink some, but drinking daily took a toll on my body and my moods.)
Although a lot of sex isn't one of my criteria for choosing a girlfriend, it would be nice to find someone who enjoys a lot of touching. (I miss hugs, snuggling, kissing, and holding hands more than I miss sex itself.) (From what I have read, making love two to three times a week is pretty much the norm for most couples.)
There isnt a whole lot of my 30's left. (They have been different that what I had planned on. (All through my 20's and early 30's, I busted my butt working, and figured I would be able to have more and play some in my 30's; but it hasn't happened. (Oh well, it has been a fascinating journey, and I have managed to find a lot of fun moments and good friends; and that is all that is really important. (And, I got rid of my ex.))))
My dad said he is keeping up his diet and exercise program. (Good for him.)

(7am) Looks like another beautiful day.
(8am) I am still feeling a bit guilty about having been a burden to Erica. (I have to keep trying to work through my problems on my own, and try to become someone that doesn't take so much in social settings and is a good friend.) (I wonder sometimes how she has put up with me for so many years.)
(9am) I wonder if our intervention in the Persian Gulf isn't really meant to start a war? (One of the problems in our economy now is failing banks, and a major reason they are failing is the loans to oil companies, which went into default and the concurrent depression of everything in the oil regions, when oil prices fell dramatically. (If Reagon starts a war over there, the price of oil will go up, oil companies in the U.S. will become healthier and start paying loans and spending money again. (It bails out the banks and real estate developers.)-(Interesting.) (And, since some of our economic competitors (e.g., Japan) are more highly dependent upon middle east oil, it might give our manufacturing companies an edge.)))
