One of my rationalizations for not going out broke has been the women, back in my bar days, who said I was undesirable because I was broke. (Although many (maybe even most) women don't want a poor man in their lives, there are some that don't really worry about it.) (Going out broke will turn off a lot of women, but it's the only way to meet the one’s who wouldn't be.) (If I wait for money, I will be alone for a long time to come.)
One reason I think my friendship with Erica is positive, is that we compliment each other. (In the areas of life where I am skilled, I have helped her. In the areas where I am unskilled, she has helped me. (Neat.)) (I still think the answer isn’t in killing my love for her, but in putting it in a frame where it's positive for both of us.)
(Noon) Today's trip to the post office was pleasant. (I got my food stamps and my dad loaned me $200. (I am rich again.))
(1pm) Every relationship has a last moment, but it doesn't have to be the moment when it ceases to be a sexual relationship. (Maybe, whether the relationship continues on past the last sexual moment, depends on how strong their friendship is and how mature they are?) (I know I don't miss my ex, but then we were never really friends. (And both of us were lacking in maturity.)) (And I won't miss Sharon, because we never had time to become friends.)
Tis sun tanning time again. (It feels nice.)
Despite not having a social life in Jr. and Sr. High School, I ended up knowing and being known by just about everyone. (And I think I was liked. (e.g., I was a nerd, but I don't remember anyone calling me names or making fun at me.)) (I could have had an active social life with little or no trouble, but I chose to withdraw. (Twas my choice, and I gained from it.)) (One of these days, I will have to explore some new choices.)
(5pm) Well I paid some bills and bought groceries. (Tis nice seeing food on the shelves again!) (Knowing that the power company is happy is another plus.)
(10pm) Quiet nite. (Nice.)

(9am) Job Service called about a job opening with the State Highway department here, so I went and got an application. (It looks like it would be a good job.)
