(8pm) Quotes:
Herb Goldberg, from the "New Male"-"It
is my interpretation that on the deepest archetypal level the feminist movement is
partially fueled by an intuitive sensing of the decay and demise of the male. Women are
rushing in to take men's places, as much for survivals sake as for any sociological or
philosophical reasons."
Lao-tse-"All living growth is pliant until death
transfers it. Thus men who have hardened are kin of death. And men who stay
soft are kin of life."

(8am) Happy birthday to Joe.
And happy "35" months of celibacy to me.
Quotes:
Herb Goldberg-"Some men do escape this process of
constriction and live a more expressive existence." (My only problem with Goldberg is
that he stresses a concept of separateness. (We have to focus on freeing everyone,
regardless of gender.))
(9pm) Samantha stopped by tonite. She got a job bartending out at Gateway. (An apartment goes with the job, so she is going to get out on her own for awhile. (That might be good for her.))
(4pm) The state filed a garnishment on my wages, to collect the back child support from when I was unemployed back in 82-83. (I had thought that I was paying that down at a pretty good pace, all things considered.) (How am I supposed to live on $225 a month?)
(8pm) I was feeling faint earlier and had to lie down for awhile. (Scary.) (It hasnt been a good day.)

(8am) Quote:
Herb Goldberg-"... the assertion that men exploit
women is as valid as the generalizations that women manipulate men for marriage, security,
and money." (We have to learn to let down the barriers and live together as fellow
human beings instead of as enemies.)
(5pm) I got a letter from Erica. (That brightened up my day, as usual.)
(10am) One of my tax clients showed up with $100 today. (Relief.)
(3pm) That was an interesting book.
I got things cleared up a bit on that garnishment. (June's going to be tough, but they are going to back off after that.)
My back is definitely stiff and sore.
