(9pm) I took some time away from writing today. (I am getting burned out on that project.)
Twas nice getting some reading done for a change today!
I also did a couple tax returns. (Twas strange working with numbers for a change!)

(9pm) I got back to work today and started converting the rest of my writing to web pages.

(9pm) I quit cigs again.
I worked out Tuesday through Friday again this week. (That feels good!)

(9pm) Carrie called today and visited awhile. (She says she has a new beau.) (She is presenting papers at two conferences and is up for a leadership award. (Good for her!)) (She is still debating on whether to look for a teaching job or go on for a Ph.D. (She would rather continue on with school, but she is getting tired of being broke.))
I have got to figure out some way to give up accounting. (It is obvious from how it was effecting my body, that continuing would kill me. (The last six months with the City, I could barely stand up half the time. (That got real old!)))
The people I am close to haven’t changed in a long time. (Ultimately, the people I am close are the people I met back in the Paw days, when I went out as a poet, instead of as an accountant.) (Maybe the reason I haven’t been attracted to anyone who has showed any interest in me is that they were interested in the accountant, but they weren’t people the poet could get along with?)

(9pm) I finished converting "Outlaws and poets" to web pages. (I still have a few dozen poems I need to finish and a couple more pages to add here; but I am almost done. (Neat!))
