Notes from the ozone:
1. Is the genetic chain God? Or, maybe just partially? (I have read that the double helix is actually designed to be a triple. (Maybe the missing strand was taken away when we fell from grace?)-(Or maybe that is the difference between God and us?))
2. The "it takes a village to raise a child" thing that has come up in the past few years seems to fit with my thought that we need to redefine family and start moving from the failed concept of the nuclear family back towards the ancient concepts of the extended family. (The industrial revolution destroyed the extended family, and now we have to find some way to replace it that is flexible enough to account for our mobile culture. (Children cant continue to be raised in isolation!) (Among other things, children are missing out on the stories they were raised with in the past. I love tv, but those stories arent sufficient to raise children by.))
3. When will womens lib and men lib stop, and peoples lib start?
4. Since I cant find a wife, maybe I need to find a friendly bartender?
5. Is our fear of nature also a fear of self?

(9pm) I dug through piles of boxes and found notes for a year and a half that I had never written up along with some more poems. (Neat!)

(10am) I went to find my watch so I could keep track of time on my trip; but its dead. (I suppose I should forget about clocks for now and enjoy this time.)
(4p) I stopped by and dropped off Samantha and Leos Xmas presents. (They seem to be doing well! (Good for them!))
The drive over was beautiful!
(10pm) Carrie went out and tipped a few with Max last nite, so she wasnt up to going out tonite. (We had a wonderful evening of conversation and movies.)
She is relieved that classes are done for awhile.
They are headed over to Miles City for the holidays.

(7am) I got up early and started working on Carries computer. (I upgraded her anti-virus software and now I am downloading all of the Microsofts Windows 98 updates.)
(11am) On the road again.
Carrie complained about people who stay thin without even trying. (I have felt the way too.) (I have been rethinking that lately. (A number of those people, as they move into their 40s, seem to start having back problems and such. (I think they just havent had the motivation, like those of us who fight fat all the time, to exercise; and just dont have the muscles needed to keep bones in place as long. (?)))) (Maybe it is a blessing to be forced to confront the animal within and be forced to exercise?)
