I am a little disappointed I haven’t seen anything unusual. (This stretch of road has more than a few unusual stories associated with it.)

I have driven by a bunch of brothels. (It would be very nice to have the money to stop at them all! (Some human contact would be very nice now. (Tis hard getting through it all and never being touched or touching another!)))

(1:30am) Reno, Nevada 63,938

I stopped and checked out the Circus Circus here too.

For some reason, I really don’t care for Reno. (Tis probably not fair to judge it when I am this tired and at this time of day, but it turns me off.)

(2:30am) Sparks, Nevada 63,947 9.2 gallons

Well, the moon finally found a patch of clear sky to peak through, so I can finally stop and get some sleep.

(10am) Time to hit the road again.

I keep meaning to stop and rest for a day or two, but I keep moving on.

(12pm) Lovelock, Nevada

Time for a bite to eat.

This is a pretty tiny place.

They seem to be growing something here, so there is some agriculture. (Tis amazing how much difference water can make. (There must be some other way to redistribute water, so that more of the earth is green. (Or, is that an inappropriate wish? (The world and its systems are so complex there may be some reason for deserts.))))

A part of me wishes for green spaces, and part of why the southwest doesn’t appeal to me is I enjoy gardening. (Even with water, the intense heat of the days would require a lot of plants to be shaded.)

Still there is something about the desert that stirs me!
