(Noon) When it feels right for me to come down from my ivory tower, I will come down. (I tried going out again and the experiment failed. (I don’t consciously try to screw things up when I am around others, but I always seem to do / not do, say / not say, the wrong / right things.)-(Tis frustrating because I mostly enjoy myself when I am around others, but my defense mechanisms turn everyone else off and spoils their fun.))
I don’t have much luck at work. (I tend to be pessimistic and negative anytime I am around people. (Very effective defense mechanism!)) (I can’t speak unless spoken to, unless it’s absolutely necessary to do my job; and I avoid tasks that require talking. (My boss likes those tasks, and wouldn’t turn them over to me even if I was different.))

(4pm) I ran into Jim and we had a beer. (He is pretty pissed off about what is going on with rural fire. (Politicians don’t care about employees and we are constantly getting screwed.))

(5pm) I had lunch with Miranda. (She is worried about Erica.)

(4pm) I stopped in the Rhino for a bit, for their anniversary party. (I visited with a few people.)-(Hopefully I wasn’t a bother!) (I am in lust with one of the bartenders. (Oh well, just ignore it!)-(Lust seems to get me into trouble.))
(5pm) Carly stopped by and bs’d. (She says Gwynn came to visit and is being a good girl.)

(10pm) Some guy is outside yelling and threatening to kill someone. (Some of the references he has used seem to point towards me, but he hasn’t used anyone’s name. (?)-(The only one I can think of who might be jealous of me is Phoebe’s new beau.))

(11pm) Happy birthday to me!
I had to work late, but I made up for it with a nice evening. (I stopped at the Rhino and visited with a few people and hoisted a couple.) (I treated myself to a Chinese dinner. (Yum!)) (Then I went to the strip joint and did some girl watching. (Yum!))
Erica left some cakes at the apartment. (I just killed one of them off. (Yum, again!))
All in all it has been a yummy nite!
