I do hide my emotions and I go way overboard to protect myself. (I know it’s wrong, but I haven’t figured out how to overcome yet.) (Tis a defense mechanism, but it’s actually pushing me into worse situations.)
One advantage of being a hermit is that others don’t see all my flaws and weaknesses. (Now that I am going out more people are noticing and complaining to Erica about me.)
(9pm) Erica stopped by and we went down to the Rhino for a couple. (Neat!)

(5pm) Carly and Gwynn stopped by and bs’d awhile. (Gwynn is getting thin! (It sounds like she is obsessing even more on exercise. (Oh well, that is a better addiction than the others she has gotten into.)))
(7pm) Twas nice going down to the Rhino for a couple!
I fell back on my old standby and wrote Bryan a note listing the things I want him to be doing to help keep the apartment up. (So far he seems to be going along with my requests.)

(8am) Happy 4th!
(4pm) Carly called and I went over to their place and bs’d with her and Gwynn for a couple hours. (They are getting their place fixed up nicer.) (She says they have only had sex four times in the last three years. (She says becoming a mother has totally turned him off.) (Sad!))

(Midnite) Happy ten years of being divorced to me!
(Noon) My sister called and bs’d. (It had been a long time since I had heard from her.) (She is busy going to college, and taking care of the house and the two acres his mom gave them.) (It sounds like Bill is working a lot more and their finances are in better shape.) (Good for them!)
(5pm) I went over to Erica’s and helped her with some chores. (Neat!)
Tis good that I am getting out of the hermit routine a little!
Carly just called. (Gwynn has been on a binge again this weekend. (She says some cowboy has been by their place a couple times today. (Gwynn spent the nite with him and he claims she stole $1,000 from him.)))-(Carly says Ross threw Gwynn out today because of the ruckus.)
(8pm) Carly called again and asked me to go get Gwynn at the Rhino and take her to the bus station, so she gets back to Butte. (When I got there Veronica told me that Gwynn was shitfaced and left with some guy.)
