It sounds like Miranda is trying to work things out so Erica can move to Anaconda. (I would guess that she misses Erica as much as Erica is missing her.)

(7am) Phoebe showed up at 10pm totally shitfaced. (Kind of annoying, but we got naked and played for a few hours and I am not going to complain!)
(10am) My dad called and bs’d awhile. (Pretty unusual for him to spend money on a call when there isn’t an emergency!) (They went to Washington, D. C. for a week, to check it out.) (They are getting ready to go to Vegas for awhile. (Good for them!)) (He says the doctor says my sister doesn’t have carpal tunnel, so they are lost as to what is wrong.)
(3pm) Carly stopped by looking for gambling coupons. (She says she ran into Phoebe at the bar and she is hammered already. (Phoebe does get pretty extreme with booze!))
