The trial is still haunting me. (Simplifying it a lot, a family of four died in a trailer fire. The issue was whether the landlord was responsible for the deaths, due to not properly maintaining the trailer. For whatever legal reason, we couldn’t give anything to the family of the deceased unless the landlord was 100% responsible for their deaths. (The evidence made it clear that the landlord was partially responsible, but the family had done things that made the fire and their deaths partially their responsibility.))

(1am) Another blasé Saturday nite. (Anything else would probably give me a heart attack.)

(3pm) Quiet day so far.

(10pm) Quiet nite.

(5pm) I went over to the campus and got information on getting enrolled.

Something wiped out one of my headlites. (Oh well, it didn’t take much to replace it.)

(6pm) Erica stopped by for a bowl and a brew. (Neat!)

It sounds like she had a fun weekend! (Good for her!)

(11pm) Crash and burn time again.

(5pm) Busy day!

(11pm) Things are sure blasé!

(5pm) Boring day!

(8pm) Nice workout!

Here is a weird one: For months now, about everyday on my lunch walk, four women run past me once or twice up in Greenough, and one of them usually says something to me. Today I got a call from a paralegal at the law firm that represented the landlord at the trial. She started out by saying she knew who I was. (She is one of the women who run past me.) (I guess she saw me in the courtroom.) (She is cute and interesting to talk to.)

I got a letter from Samantha today. (She sounds better. (Good!)) (She says Carrie called and bs’d awhile. (She says Carrie sounds fine. (Also good!)))

(11pm) Erica and Miranda stopped by for a few games of dominos. (Neat!)
