(9am) My dad called yesterday and bsd awhile. (He is talking about coming to visit next summer to check out Glacier Park.)
My gas bill has stayed high this summer, so I called the power company and somebody is coming to check for gas leaks.
I got another rejection from a publisher yesterday.
Lauren is getting ready to move to Seattle.
From what I hear, the drug war has expanded to citizens spying on their neighbors and keeping detailed records on the comings and goings of everyone. (Supposedly the citizens are trained to pay particular attention to homes where a lot of people visit and dont stay long, and to places where people have parties.)-(They are also provided with information on people the cops suspect, and they report any time they see those people and who those people visit.)-(They also report when their neighbors take vacations and where they go, so they can watch for patterns that might indicate someone making drug runs.)-(They even have people going through trashcans.)-(Supposedly they are getting over 100 new names a month to investigate.) (The biggest problem with the drug war is it has been used to strip us of our rights and move us closer to a police state.) (I can remember when we condemned the Nazis and the Communists for doing what the police are doing here now.)
I got labeled as a drug dealer back in the Paw days, because a lot of women talked to me. (Usually I couldnt even afford a drink; let alone cocaine; but the small minded figured that the only reason women talk to men is drugs.)
(Noon) Laundry time.
Two more rejections showed up in todays mail.
(5pm) Nice workout!
(9pm) Quiet nite so far.
