Henry called to find out whose phone number Erica had left him to call and leave messages.

(7pm) Charlotte was having problems with her stereo and she gave me the manuals to study. (I think I have figured out the problem. I will have to call her and schedule a time to go over and help her.)

I have been stuttering more lately. (Or, have I just been talking more?) (Oh well, just talk slowly and quietly.)

(9pm) Erica stopped by and visited for awhile. (Neat!)

Looking for love does seem to get in the way of the magic finding you. (I tried that way for awhile and got real depressed because it didn’t happen.)-(Now I have gone in the other direction, to the extreme, and am not open to it happening at all.)-(Looking for love doesn’t work and hiding from it doesn’t work. The trick is to find the balance where one is open to the magic, but not thinking about it. (Thinking about it messes it all up.)-(If it doesn’t happen at the unconscious level, the magic isn’t going to find you.))

(10pm) Quiet nite. (Nice!)

My bedroom does get warm in the summer! (I sweat easily though and that cools me off enough, most nites.) (Tis going to be cold soon, so I suppose I should appreciate the warm nites while they are still with us.)

9-5-88

(Midnite) Tiredness!

(8am) I slept well!

(9am) When I was in junior high school I was the equipment manager for most of the sports teams. One time they tried to get me on stage as part of the football team, during a pep rally. (I hid where no one would find me. (I could hear them calling me up on stage for what seemed like forever. (After that they never tried that again.))) (Most everyone knew who I was because of my involvement in sports and writing for the school paper in high school, but I shunned groups of people and didn’t let anyone close to me until my last year of high school.) (I have been an extreme introvert since my mother went crazy.)

I like Robert Cray’s song "Don’t be afraid of the dark", but it isn’t a story I can relate to now. (I guess I can twist it and think of it as someone talking to themselves, and then I can relate.) (Oh well, the joys of shyness are many and varied, and I can’t complain!)

(11am) There are feathers all over the kitchen. (D O must have brought home another bird. (She appears to be good at catching them.))

(6pm) I went over to Charlotte’s and got her stereo going again. (She gave me a six pack of Corona. (Neat!))

Then Erica and Miranda stopped by. (Neat!)

Miranda thought I shouldn’t have helped Charlotte. (I like helping others and it’s good therapy!)
