Erica left me a "Penthouse" and I am getting into the reading the letters this morning. (Fantasy is wonderful!)
(6pm) Work was busy!
Erica stopped by during the day and left me a letter and a pie. (Neat!)
She is still having health problems. (Sad!)
The Council started their budget hearings today. (Today they did the Police Department. (They asked them about the drug team and the Police say they will be issuing 71 warrants soon.))
Erica has been working on typing up Richard’s stories and poetry, and I am printing them out tonite.
There was a time when I had a problem overdrawing checking accounts, but two years without one and dealing only in cash seems to have cured that. (It sure makes life simpler having a checking account! (e.g., paying bills by mail.)-(e.g., going shopping the day before payday and playing the float a little.)) (I initially developed that bad habit because the bank president was a friend of my dad’s and they just paid the checks, regardless of whether I had money in the account at the time. (Then, during my marriage, my ex made life so miserable if I didn’t give her what she wanted, I would buy things even when there was no money in the account, just to stop the attack.))
Dice are neat! (I spent a lot of time playing dice games like Monopoly when I was kid.)-(And, now I am learning how to play Yahtzee.) (They are an old system of symbology and have been tied back to the I Ching.)
My dad and I got along well while I was back there. (Still, I was ready to come home a day and a half before I was due to leave.)
(8pm) The pie sure is tasty! (Yum!)

Erica is going to borrow the truck, so I moved the insurance and registration stuff to where she can find them if she needs them.
(5pm) Busy day!
(9pm) I am back into the pie. (I do love sweets!)
(11pm) Quiet nite of tv. (Nice!)
Tonite I watched "Superman IV" and "Who is that girl".
