The wedding was at 7pm. (Everyone liked the ceremony except me. (I have can’t seem to help applying my studies to the analysis of sermons and such, and ripping them apart.))
My sister’s best friend Taylor came over Sunday morning for breakfast and we had a nice chat. I had another nice visit with her at the wedding reception. (I have been in lust with her for 20 years!)-(She is 35, pretty, hard working, ….) (Right now she is single and pg.)
I tried crank for the first time. (I like cocaine better!)
Twas a drunk and stoned few days! (At the liquor store my dad spent $150 on booze and another $20 on mixes and brews.)
My dad has been exercising and has cut out all sugar except for the booze. (He says his blood sugar is ok still. (I hope so!))
The humidity was amazingly low, so I haven’t had a problem with headaches this trip. (It was quite hot though!)
My dad isn’t interested in helping financially right now. (Oh well, keep working and dig myself out.)
He thinks Miranda’s idea about going back to court is worth pursuing. (He said he would help with the cost of an attorney, if I decide to try that.)
My step mom is having a lot of problems with her health. (She has been having problems with asthma the last couple years.)-(She is heading to Vegas for a couple months, to escape the humidity and stuff in the air in Kansas.) (They would move to Vegas, but they still have a lot of things to deal with here. (e.g., her granddaughter lives with them and they will wait at least two more years, so she can finish high school.))
They have begun to sell off their real estate holdings and my dad has arranged to sell the business in a couple years. (She is 66 and is going to retire this summer.) (He is 62 and he wants to work until he is 65. (Last year he was talking about working until 72. (I am glad he decided not to do that!)))
Her granddaughter sure is a handful for them! (Her dad / my step mom’s son died about 12 years ago and her mom is a drug addict, and is in no shape to be raising a kid.)-(The other grandparents live in a penthouse in Philadelphia and are mega rich, but they are jet setters and are gone most of the time. (The granddaughter would have ended up in a boarding school, if they hadn’t taken her in.)) (She has lived with them for about five years now.)-(She seems to be a pretty normal teenager, with the complications of having been bounced around when she was younger.)-(She is a cutie! (She runs around in a bikini most of the time.))-(And she is spoiled. (e.g., we went over to a condo they still own and checked it out. On the way back, the granddaughter commented that it was a dump. (Tis a palace compared to where I live.))
I am not sure about Bill. (Compared to the other men in my sister’s life, he is a winner; but that isn’t saying much.)-(He is an alcoholic and he refuses to get a job.)-(He does contract work as an insurance appraiser, but it’s pretty irregular.) (Dad is a bit concerned.) (Oh well, he makes my sister happy and that is all that really matters.)
I have had some heartburn here. (Probably all the booze.)
