Saturday nites do mess up my Sundays, but that is my therapy on the weekend.

(5am) I suppose quitting cigs would be worth another try. (Maybe some other obnoxious habit wouldn’t pop out to replace it.) (It isn’t going to address my lack of assertiveness, but it would remove one of the reasons being around me is an unpleasant experience.)

Sometimes I wish one of my women friends found me desirable, but I wouldn’t have gotten close to them if they did. (And, ultimately, my platonic relationships are more pleasant than the sexual one’s I have been involved in.)

More budget meetings today. (It looks like some people may lose their jobs.)
I went to another grant meeting this afternoon.
I will have to install the screens soon and start leaving the windows open.
Sharon offered to take care of my apartment while I am in Kansas. (I don’t trust her that much.)
Erica reminded me again to pick lilacs and bring them in to brighten up the apartment.
To do more in the kitchen I would need to get more tools. (I should probably hit rummage sales and pick up more kitchen stuff. (Both to replace old stuff and to add to my kitchen tool kit.))

I made some progress on editing poems. (I have sure got lots of writing chores piled up!)

(6am) Well, this frig is acting up now. (It freezes everything. (Frozen beer sucks!)) (D O is getting tired of waiting for the cat food to thaw out.) (The joys of poverty!)

I had a meeting with the head of urban development on his budget today. (He confirmed what I had heard about there being an underground maze beneath downtown. (He says a lot of it has been filled in over the past few years.)-(People are afraid to get into it for fear of historians demanding that it all be opened up and restored.))
