I am tired but still too wound up for sleep. (Oh well, lite up a bowl, open a brew and watch the Academy Awards.)
I needed some information from the office in Helena where Nikki works, so I called her today. (She says that last guy she kicked out is being a jerk. (He prowls around outside the house late at nite, breaks in and goes through stuff while they are gone to work and school, crying that he can’t go on without her, ….)-(Addictive relationships are a drag!))

The weather has been great the last few days. (Neat!)
Miranda called me at work and she is coming by in a bit. (I always enjoy seeing her!)
(6pm) Miranda stopped by and brought me a cake. (That was sweet of her!)
D O sure likes when the window is open. (One annoying aspect is she is into leaping straight up and over the window onto the speaker.)
Miranda thought D O was friendlier now. (She does seem to be mellowing out.)
I had a nice chat with Lauren today.

I spent the last two hours in a meeting with feds and others involved in one of the City’s grant fiascoes. (What a nitemare!)
