I had another chat with Lauren today. (Neat!) (She went skiing at Whitefish over the weekend. (Good for her!)) (She says she is contemplating going back to school again, but can't figure out what to study. (Chemistry, physics, anthropology, law, …, all interest her.))-(I can relate! (I would love to become a professional student.))

(5am) Twas difficult rolling out of bed!
I sent back the class reunion stuff and told them no to everything. (I was close to almost no one there, and the few I did allow halfway close to me were on their list of people they had lost track of.) (Also, I am still ashamed about giving up those friends for my ex. (It would be hard to face them.))-(I seem to have a habit of moving on and burning bridges.)
D O was surprised to see me up so early.
(1pm) The drive over to Helena was nice. (Twas nice to get out on the road again!)
I had lunch with Nikki and her oldest daughter, and I am going over to her place for dinner. (It sounds like her life is getting hectic again.)-(Three of her four kids had moved out, but two of the one’s who left have moved back in and the fourth will be back this summer.)
She says she kicked the last guy out, so she is back to being single.
Nikki says my friend James in Chester is living with a woman who is ten years older than he is who has four kids. (She says he is happy, but she has heard some things about that woman that make her think that woman will dump James soon.)
James has been trying to set Nikki up with a 62-year-old guy. (She is 45.) (She says this new guy wants to take her to Europe for a month.)
Her older daughter is recovering from breaking up with the guy she was living with too. (She is a cutie!)
(5pm) The seminar has been interesting so far.
(9pm) Nikki fixed us up a great dinner and we had a nice visit. (She has a neat big house up in the hills south of town with a great view. (Good for her!))
(11pm) I went down to the hotel bar and tipped a few. (The bartender and the waitress were sure pleasant to look at!)
Nikki gave me shit about not having a girlfriend yet.
She says her problem is she likes chasing guys. (When she catches one, she gets bored and dumps him.)-(That is probably better than what I am doing.)
