Erica gave the cat a plastic snake. I attached a string to it and the cat and I have been having fun playing chase the snake.
What I know about Lauren so far is that she moved here not too long ago, she used to teach skiing and ballet, she spent a few summers working for the forest service in Colorado, she is about my age, she doesn't wear much make up, she has a great body, and I am very much in lust. (Once again.) (The lie I told her was that I am a skier. (Why do I do such stupid things?))
Erica finally got back my copy of "Still Life with Woodpecker" from Linda. I told her to loan it to Miranda. (Maybe she will get something from it.)

(8am) I seem to be less afraid of people than when I started at the County. (I am more self-confident about my skills now.)
The cat sliced my face last nite. (Annoying!) (Time for some cat training. (The woman at the shelter said to use a plant mister and squirt her when she does things I don't like.))
(11am) Laundry time again. (Only four loads this time.)-(Last time it had been five or six weeks since I had been able to afford the laundromat.)
I got Xmas cards and letters from Samantha and my Aunt Faye in Vegas. (Samantha is excited about me coming over for Xmas. (She wants me to bring some shrooms.))-(Her mom is recovering from her eye surgery but is depressed about being out of work, broke and buried by medical bills.) (My aunt and uncle have been traveling a bunch this year. (Mexico, and the mid-west, the south west and the north east portions of the U.S.) (She is back into painting and has won some prizes this year at art shows. (Good for her!)))
I am getting nervous about going to the City's Xmas party. (Being around single women in a social setting makes me nervous.)
(1pm) I have cut way back on my cig consumption this week. (Not being able to smoke at my desk is probably better for me.)
(3pm) Nice workout!

(1am) Every time I come home the cat is sitting by the door and expects some petting. (Nice!)
The Xmas party was ok. (The food and music were good.) (I was experiencing anxiety attacks the entire time and spent most of the time sitting alone and being quiet. (For me, not responding to the urge to run is a victory.)) (Another single woman at work is Jesse. I spent some time tonite sitting with her. (She is nice!))
I got home around 10pm and walked downtown to check out the Down Under. (Good music and girl watching!) (I worked on my body language some there, but it's a constant battle.)
