Tis amazing how much more air my fan moves, now that I cleaned the blades. (I suppose I should clean more often.)
I still feel that until I have beaten some more of the phobias and I am a fun person to be with, I need to work on my problems alone.
Carly told me that Dell has gone to Oregon to cut Xmas trees. (I haven't talked to him in ages and don't really know him, but she talked like he was a close friend of mine. (My guess is Erica let him read some of my letters to her. (Tis weird to be known by people I don't know, but I guess that is part of being a writer.)))
Writing sure fills up a lot of hours! (I enjoy it, but it's something of an escape and a way of replacing emotional intimacy lost by escaping. (It allows me to talk to others and share.)) (It also allows others to fit me into their lives when they have time.)
I will have to look for ways to repay Erica's kindness, now that I have a job again.
If the money works out, I think I will go to Bozeman for Xmas. (Samantha and Leo throw a big bash on Xmas eve, so I could see lots of people and party a bunch.) (It would be nice to check out the old apartment and that view again!)
(10am) Nice massage!
(Noon) Some money came in, so it's laundry day. (13 loads)
(1pm) Erica stopped by to say hi. (Neat!)
In this day and age, getting a cat may be a longer-term commitment than a girlfriend. (It will be good practice.) (Right now I will be better for a cat than for a girlfriend.)
I get the feeling that Carly is a bit burned out on computers, after this class she is taking. (Twas nice to be able to help her with that!)
(4pm) Erica says she will help me find a cat. (I need to take care of that soon, so we have a couple days to get used to each other before I go back to work.)
(5pm) From a technical analysis point of view, the stock market still doesn't look good. (Hopefully it goes back up, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go further down.) (If I had money and more guts I think I would probably start looking for bargains to buy now.)
There was a time when I loved practical jokes. (e.g., one time my mom and dad were out of town for a convention. The woman who was staying with us was gone for a couple hours in the mornings to go to classes. One day, while she was gone, I turned over all the furniture in the living room and laid a butcher knife on the kitchen table sprinkled with ketchup. Then my sister and I lay under the furniture with just our legs sticking out so they could be seen. (Freaked her out, big time!)) (My ex was so uptight it took all the fun out of pulling practical jokes. (Another part of me she killed.))
Carly told me to stop by tonite, but when I ran into Ross at the grocery store he said to wait until next week when finals are over. (Oh well, I was planning to space it off anyway.)
