(11pm) Sleep is elusive tonite. (The joys of being out of smoke.)

(4am) Last nite's dream had to do with moving into an apartment in downtown Bozeman. There were several others living there, but I never saw them. My bedroom had two doors, one of which led to a long empty room at the end of which was a bar / restaurant. (?)
(8am) Nice workout! (There were more cars in the parking lot than in the afternoon, but less people in the weight room.)-(There were quite a few more women in the morning, than in the afternoon.) (I had to stretch longer, but I had no problem with the exercise.)
(10am) Nice massage!
I wonder if Erica has heard anything from Carrie? (I sure miss her!) (I still don't understand the intensity of her reaction.) (If I could afford to, I would go down there. (She doesn't have a phone and returns my letters unopened.)) (Oh well, wait and hope. Maybe someday she will forgive me.) (I got upset with Erica back in 6/84, threw out all the letters she had written to me, and I didn't write to her for awhile; but we eventually worked it out.) (Hopefully Carrie will come back into my life!)
(4pm) Today I got in gear and read the City's budget. (Interesting!) (Tis a lot more complex than what we did at the County.)
(8pm) Erica stopped by to visit. (Neat!)
I went down and visited with Ross and Carly for an hour. (I still don't have the foggiest idea what her game is.)
(10pm) Quiet nite. (Nice!)

(8am) There are some interesting stories found in listening to Carly. (It sounds like she is had an interesting journey and done a lot of experimenting. (e.g., Gwynn used to be her lover.)-(e.g., she used to shoot smack with William Burroughs in Boulder.))
Just before sleep last nite it occurred to me that Carly reminds me a little of Billie. (She was always sweet to me, but others told stories that made it obvious she sometimes played the conniving bitch. (One nite would have been ecstasy, but Billie would have driven me crazy in a long-term relationship.))
Erica seems to think I should leave that relationship platonic. (Carly probably doesn't fit the goal of reinforcing the sex - pleasure connection.)
From what Erica says it sounds like Miranda may still have a ways to go before she is ready for a long-term relationship.
I have thought about trying to publish just the poems from "Outlaws and Poets", but I think they make more sense in the context of the story line.
