I am going to start off with the rule of no sex with people I work with. (I need to do some more work on breaking this down at the social level and, with that rule, work has been good therapy in the past.) (One step at a time.)
I think I will stick with walking to work and at lunch.
The work will be more challenging, but in a lot of ways this job will be a lot like working for the County.
I will have some new characters to introduce, with a new job; but I wonder how many new stories I will run into?
(Noon) I figured out what my take home pay will be. (After the marriage debts I will have $700 a month to live on.)
(1pm) Well, I rolled up a bunch of cigs. (Such fun.)
I think I might visit with a shrink again in the future, but, for now, it's a matter of getting out the door and confronting the pain. (Tis going to be a long rough road.)
(4pm) Nice workout! (I will have to switch to 6am next week and get that schedule change figured out.) (I wonder if there will be more or less women then?) (In the afternoon the men out number the women by at least three to one.)
(5pm) Erica, Miranda and Linda stopped by and visited. (How did I get so lucky?)
Sharon called and visited. (She sounds the same.)
(6pm) Erica loaned me some money so I went to the store and bought myself some treats. (Neat!)
(8pm) Today brings to an end year three of "Outlaws and Poets". (I wrote 152 pages of prose the first year, 160 the second and about 350 this year. The first year I wrote 266 poems, the second it was 78 and this year 67.) (This past year sure was productive! (I wrote a lot and I got well over 1,000 pages entered into the computer and edited.) (I have worked about 3,000 hours in the past year and about 2,000 of that was writing.))
Twas nice to add more sex to "Outlaws and Poets" this past year. (Still not much though.)
Miranda seems to agree about not going out broke. (I still feel going out broke and unemployed would have created a negative image, but maybe that is just my phobia talking.) (Oh well, I am going to have my hands full coping with going to work, and the bars will have to wait awhile longer.)
She still thinks I should see a lawyer and look into getting the monetary obligations of my divorce decree reduced. (I will pay what I owe.)
(9pm) Miranda brought me a pie and I went and bought some ice cream, so I have been pigging out tonite. (Yum!) (Miranda is a great cook!)
