(8am) I have started taping tv shows for Erica and Miranda. (They are so busy partying they don't always get to watch their shows.) (It isn’t much, but it's a small way to return some of their kindness.)
I have also started compiling videotapes of the tv shows I really like. (e.g., "Shandling Show" and "Mad Movies") (I will have to make copies of them for Erica and Miranda.)
The shrink felt being a hermit was something I needed to do, as a stage in my development. He said it was up to me to decide when to end it. (It has helped much! (e.g., I have been learning to like myself and be my own friend. (I need to learn that before I can be a friend to others.))) (The question is when to change and how to motivate myself to go out and look for pain.)
(11am) I finished typing up all the letters to Erica and Carrie. (Yeah!)
Now I am typing up some sections of the journal I didn't get to the first time through.
A 40 hour a week job would fit my needs now. (That leaves time for studying, writing and part time jobs. (I like part time jobs. (So far, my regular jobs have covered my survival and debt payments, and the part time jobs have provided a little extra for fun.)))
Last winter I chose to split up my problems and just deal with the one with intimacy. (I think now it's time to deal with the one with commitment.)
(2pm) Well, I finished all my typing projects. (Yeah!) (Eight days straight this time.)-(And, before that I was editing.)-(I think it's time for a break from "Outlaws and Poets".)
(4pm) Nice walk!

(7am) The smog and clouds make for long gray winters here. (My first winter here it really bothered me, but I seem to be adapting.)

I have been getting into football a little lately.
(7pm) The City gave me a project to turn in tomorrow morning, so I did that today. (Six hours. (What a drag.)) (I know I have to go back to accounting, but I am not happy about doing that kind of work.) (It has been wonderful being able to work full time on my studies and writing!)
