After work I went down to the Cannery with Ron, bs'd, and watched him play the poker machines. (He says he figures that is a cheaper habit than women. (I would say it depends upon the woman and your relationship with her.)-(And, it isn’t unknown for a woman to end up spending a lot of money on some guy.)) (I may not have gotten laid; but I have spent a lot of time with women in the last five years and I may have come out ahead, money wise. (I have bought them a lot of drinks and they have bought few; but my women friends who were bartenders have gave me so many free drinks I would have to say I made money. (e.g., back in the Paw days there was one five-month period when I went to the bar and drank every nite, and didn't have to buy one drink.)))

(6pm) Tis dog time again.
After dinner last nite, I went down to the Scoop. (I ran into a bunch of my old pool shooting buddies, shot pool, drank, bs'd, and had an all round good time.)
Oh yes, Ron says I need to forget about developing the capacity for commitment, for now; and focus on developing the capacity for intimacy. (I think he is probably right.)

Last nite I went to the Top Hat, after the bus got in, and I enjoyed the music and girl watching. Then I dropped by Corky's and bs'd with Gwynn and Dell. (Nice evening.)
(6pm) Busy day.
I went on a shopping spree today. (That was fun.)

(2am) I did the Top Hat scene again tonite and then had a brew over at Corky's.
(9pm) Erica called and invited me to a party today; but I was in such a shitty mood I spaced it off. (It isn’t fair for me to get in the way of others enjoying themselves. (My depressions are my problem, and I need to ride them out alone.))
