(7pm) I laid out in the sun for another three hours and moved another load to the new apartment today.
(10pm) Quiet nite of typing and tv.

(Noon) I have heard a couple items on the radio lately about some new surveys.
(One says 80% of married men would remarry their wife, and one says only 50% of married
women would remarry their husband. (That fits Gail Sheehy's comments. (She talked about how women
get the short end of the deal in marriage, a lot of the time.))) (Another one said that
the majority of women who are Republicans prefer tv to sex, while the majority of women
who are Democrats prefer sex to tv. (Look for a Democrat.))
I got a postcard today from Erica. (She is having mega-fun. (Good for her!)) (She says I have things backwards, but she doesn't explain about what and says she isn’t sure she will explain because I am so stubborn. (Sounds like me.))
(10pm) I moved another load over tonite, and I got everything else packed and ready to go.

(9am) I feel like shit.
(10pm) I took the afternoon off and finished moving. (Seven more car loads. (Where the f does all this shit come from?))
Now I am pooped!
(11pm) I like the new space.

(9pm) Busy day.
I started training my replacement at work today. (I don't want to be unemployed again, but it will be nice to be away from that situation!)
I got the gas turned on today, but the guy couldn't figure out how to get the hot water going. (He told me not to use the oven. (Oh well.))
Tonite I went over and finished cleaning up the old apartment. (So much fun.)
I got a letter from Hunter today. (He says he thinks I have things pretty well figured out. (?) (You could have fooled me.))
I ran into Dell at lunchtime today. (He told me to come down to Corky's and he would buy me a beer. (I used to do things like that a lot in my bar days; but now I worry that it’s a sign of dependency. (?) (Or am I coping out on going out again?))
