(Midnite) I just played the poker machines for five hours at the Cannery with Ron. (I lost $80. (That was foolish, I guess.)-(Oh well, the owners wife is pg, so I will chalk it up as a gift to the new kid.)) (Ron still hasn't moved past his wife's death, and begun to look for a new woman to share his time with. (Sad.) (It sounds like they had thirty years that most people dream about; but that is no reason to not go on tossing the dice.)) (He isn’t going to meet anyone, going out seldom and spending the whole time he is out just pumping quarters into the poker machines.) (Tis weird that we are so similar, yet come out of opposite experiences with marriage.)
Then we went down to 4-B's, had some dinner/breakfast, and bs'd some more. (He is good people.)
It snowed off and on all day. (Boo.) (I am ready for spring.)
I got a job offer today, to come back here and earn $28,000 a year. (I turned it down. (Tis worth $8,000 a year to me to be able to see Erica regularly.)-(It pisses me off, but she is the still the only woman I have met who can stir up feelings of jealousy in me.)-(Why do I always fall in love with the wrong women?))

(6pm) Today I had breakfast with one of Samantha's old beaus. (Bruno)-(He is good people.) (He is worried about his job. (He has worked for the park department for years, but with the losses in revenues caused by the feds eliminating the Revenue Sharing Program, they have to cut something. (Tis sad that parks are expendable, but I suppose there are more important services.)))
I had lunch with Keith and Rob. (They used to work for the County too, but got fired a few months back. (Which is what created the mess the County has hired me to come back and clean up.)) (Rob is still trying to sell me a computer. (Be nice, but the money isn't there yet.))
There sure are a lot of separations and divorces happening right now to people working for the County. (April seems to be a tough month on relationships.)
(7pm) I had dinner at Wong's tonite. (Delish.) (It was nice bs'ing with Emma.)-(She has been working there for years.)-(We got to know each other in '83 when I was living in the Cunningham's trailer and hanging out in Wong's a lot to keep warm.)-(She is good people.)
I am bushed tonite.

(1am) I went to the Scoop with Antonio (my old boss from the County) after work, shot pool and bs'd. (I ran into a couple of the Belgrade crew, Laura and Katherine (They had hugs for me. (Nice!)), Samantha and her current number two man (Leo is out on the road with the band.), and Biker Mark (I hear Carol dumped him after the second time he beat her up.).)
Then I went to the Hauf and pigged out on fried shrimp. (Delish.)
