(9am) Last nite I got a bunch of chores out of the way. Then I started going through everything and pitching out the junk that has collected. (If I am going to move to Missoula, it’s time to start getting rid of the junk I don't want to bother moving. (Moving will be a major chore as it is. (How is it that we acquire so many things?)))

I went to bed early and watched the moon for a long time. (Pretty!)

(4pm) I went over to Carrie's and read, took care of her plants, and started three new poems. (Nice time.)

Then I came home and repotted one of my plants. (Twas definitely root bound.)

Quote:

Randall Collins, "Sociological insights" - "The purpose of the cog is to turn a particular wheel; the person who acts as the cog becomes unable to form any judgement about why the wheel should turn in the first place or whether it might not be better if the whole machine were scrapped and replaced with something else."

(Noon) Note from the ozone: Isn’t the number of criminals in a society directly proportional to the number of laws? And hasn't our society reached a point where everyone ends up breaking some law or another, at least now and then? If so, don't we need to either eliminate some laws, or turn the country into a prison?

Quote:

Randall Collins-(theory of religion)-"If God represents society, then it should follow that different types of societies should have different types of Gods. There should be a correspondence between the type of religion and the structure of the social group. As the societies change, the religions should change as well."

(10pm) I went over to Leo's this evening and played cribbage with him and Samantha. (Nice evening.)

(8am) I laid in bed watching the moon go by again last nite. (Nice!)

I took myself to see "European vacation" last nite. (Cute movie.) (I was in dire need of a few chuckles. (Twas nice finding some.))

I also picked up some things to send to Carrie and Hunter for the birthdays.

I love payday.
