Josh stopped by and visited for a bit. (It sounds like he and Julia are still getting along great.) (He is looking fit and working two jobs now.) (He is going to go back to college this fall. (Good for him.)) (Right now his art project is changing the tattoo on his arm that says "Caroline", into something different.) (He says Caroline will be moving back in June, and that I might work out a deal with her to be roommates again. (She was the best roommate I have had in the money department, I could use some help with the bills (It would give me more money to party with.), and she is good people; but having a female roommate has its frustrations.)
Josh suggested a book about Jim Morrison for me to read. (Sounds interesting.)
I have notice Taoism referenced in several of the books I have read lately. (Their basic precept, that the way we can know, isn't the way; is still my guiding principle.)
Quotes:
Colin Wilson-"It is important to understand that
an enormous amount of our human experience is really a response to symbols."
"Since this has been happening over two million years of evolution, is it implausible to suppose that certain symbols have found a permanent place in the depths of the human psyche?"

(9pm) Well, tomorrow my seminar in Missoula begins, so I drove over today in one of the Countys cars. (Nice drive.)
It sure was wonderful seeing Erica again. (Neat.)

(5am) Erica still owns my heart.
(5pm) The seminar was pretty boring.

(6pm) Last nite I went out partying with Erica and a bunch of her friends. (I had much fun.)
This morning I stopped over at Ericas on my way out of town. (We went out for breakfast and bs'd for a couple of hours. (Nice.))
(11pm) The drive back was great. (I sure miss having a car that is up to road trips.) (Oh well, I do get to borrow the County car now and then for seminars.)
I spent most of the drive back thinking about Erica and I have already written seven pages to her tonite. (She seems tense around me too. (My feelings are screwing up our friendship and I have to find some way to stop my dreaming.))

(3pm) This weeks letter to Erica, which I started yesterday, is already up to 22 pages. (She always makes me think.)-(And, sometimes, turns me inside out.)
Back to poetry corner again, finally (The first one I wrote May 10, and the rest I wrote the other nite at the Top Hat bar in Missoula):
