(11pm) I went down to the motel bar for a few hours. (Interesting place. (It bills itself as a sports bar, but after 9:00 most of the crowd is there for the karaoke.) (Because of the sports and poolroom theme, men outnumbered women by two to one.) (Probably the most interesting thing was its melting pot nature. (About every race I can think of was represented.)-(Maybe it is possible for humans to someday put aside the idea of us and them? (Tis only we, and to survive we have to figure that out.))))

(8am) The local news was talking about drought here too.

Now I am downtown at a café eating breakfast and catching up on my writing.

(1pm) Well, I spent five hours walking all over the downtown area. (I checked out the capital complex, but mostly I wandered through shops in the tourist area of downtown. (Interesting!) (Lots of artwork and great women watching.) (I enjoy the architecture here!) (I had forgotten what Chicano women do to me. (Yummy!)-(Some brown sugar would taste good.)))

I took a bunch of pictures again today.

About the only thing I wouldn’t like about living here is that you can’t really garden here. (Also, I would guess the population is already beyond the carrying capacity of this place.) (Traffic isn’t too bad, considering how narrow the streets are and all the growth. (Tis the end of the tourist season, so it’s probably worse during the peak season.)) (There are a bunch of businesses having sales to trim down their inventories for the slow period. (Several were also going out of business, so maybe the tourist business is slowing down with the economic slow down?))

(3pm) Lunch at Lota burger today.

I drove around town for awhile.

I never did spot any café’s or bars that provide Internet access. (It has been a long time since I checked my e-mail and I am wondering if there is any thing there from Sally. (I hope, whatever the problem was, that it has cleared up. (I hope the problem wasn’t something I said or did. (I do have a knack for pissing people off.))))

I thought about wandering around some more; but I am a bit tired and I have a couple more days of driving and sight seeing ahead before Vegas. (Also, I have a feeling I am going to have to pay to get laid in the Nevada brothels and I need to conserve my cash for that part of this holiday. (Dad says the hooker population is increasing again in Vegas, but I imagine it will be cheaper and safer to wait for the legal places. (On the other hand, despite all the hours I have spent in strip joints in years gone by, I have never had a lap dance and I think I will correct that matter in Vegas.)))

(4pm) Oh yes, OK City was sure a car town. (Speed limits in town are 10-15 miles per hour higher than they are in Missoula.)
