(9pm) I called Camilla and bs’d with her awhile. (She hurt her back.) (She is thinking about moving to a small town.)
Erica left yesterday for Oregon. (Hopefully the surgery goes well!)
5-21-95
(8pm) Miranda stopped by and dropped off the truck. (She says Erica’s surgery went well and she is recovering. (They removed a tumor the size of a grapefruit.) (She says the surgery lasted four hours.)) (She says her cabin is about finished.)

(6pm) Erica stopped by to visit. (Neat!)
She says she checked out of the hospital the day of the surgery and stayed for a few days in a retirement home they send out of town patients to. (If this doesn’t work, she may have to get a partial hysterectomy.) (The tumor was benign.)
Today she had eye surgery, so I won’t have to bug her about wearing her glasses anymore. (She says that was more painful than the operation in Oregon.)

(2pm) I stopped by Erica’s. (She is doing much better and is getting lots of company.)
She says she wants to live here alone and date guys in other towns. (That seems to work well for Miranda.) (Tis sad but there are a lot of us who can’t cope with relationships.)

(5pm) Carly stopped by. (She got a new job. (Good for her!)) (She is headed back to the Midwest for a few months of training.)-(With this job she will be on the road about 190 days a year.) (It pays well. (She has given up on Ross ever making any money.))

(6pm) My sister called. (Bill is off to Dallas doing disaster coverage.) (She has been off of cigs for two and a half years now. (Good for her!)) (She hasn’t found a job yet, but she is thinking about becoming an adjuster, so she can travel with Bill.) (She says the bombing shook their house, despite being five miles away.) (They are talking about coming to Montana for a visit.)
I finally got a SLIP connection to the internet and downloaded Netscape and Eudora. (And, I launched my first web site. (Tis just a bunch of links and some poems, but it’s a fun experiment!))
