(3pm) Camilla called. (She says she got a new Apple computer. (I have never tried Apple, but she sure loves them!)) (She says her brother called demanding that she send presents.) (She had a great solstice party.)
I haven’t been happy with AOL, so I am giving myself an internet account with a local provider for Xmas. (They haven’t started providing SLIP connections yet, but it will be interesting to start checking out the internet through a shell account!)

(3pm) Carrie called. (She says the contractor is still working on her new place, and isn’t doing what he was supposed to do.) (She says Miles City is quiet for now.)

(5pm) Carly stopped by for a bowl and a brew. (She says that now Ross is going blind, so she is going to stay awhile longer.)
(6pm) Erica called. (She says she had fun in Anaconda. (Good for her!))

(3pm) Dad called. (He says he has been sick lately.) (They are headed back to the Southwest for another holiday. (Good for them!)) (He says he sent money to my sons, but didn’t hear back from either of them.)

(7pm) I called Carrie to make sure it was still ok to stay there Friday. (She got engaged to her new beau. (Good for her!))
Since it looks like, when the land sells, I will get back all the money I have paid in legal and surveyor fees, I decided to use this new credit card to buy a new computer. (Tis amazing how much faster the new machine is!) (I am selling Carrie the old one cheap, so she gets an upgrade too.)
