(1am) Erica stopped by and partied with me for a few hours. (Neat!)

I feel good! (Friends are great!)

She is talking about going to Oregon alone. (I would probably do the same thing, but I wish she would take Miranda along to help her out.)

(8pm) Gwynn stopped by. (She still likes her job, but she has been fighting a cold.)

9-25-94

(11am) Dad called. (He says Bryan sent back the money. (?)) (He says they are going to go to Vegas for a few weeks. (Good for them!))

Notes from the ozone:

1. I wonder if there is a relationship between the tendency to put women on pedestals and our unconscious need to return the Goddess to our lives?

2. I think that the rise of patriarchy resulted in our current focus on the conscious mind. In many ways, as Camille Paglia has pointed out, this has been good and has resulted in lots of advancements in science and technology. The question is, how much does that have to do with the breakdown of trust and increased alienation that we are experiencing today. (When all is focused on the conscious mind, which can only handle six or seven bits of information at a time, the superficial and illusion are about all that can be dealt with.)

3. The question today isn’t whether time is real, but how is time real.

(Midnite) Happy birthday to me!

I had lunch with Miranda today. (Neat!)

She isn’t happy about Erica going to Oregon alone either.

I took myself down to the strip joint tonite to celebrate. (Yum!)

(6pm) Carrie called. (She has a new beau and they are taking tango lessons. (Sounds like fun!)) (We talked about how hard it is to find someone we can get along with. (I suppose part of the answer is to make choices based on factors other than lust.)) (Tis wonderful hearing her voice!)

(7pm) Erica stopped by and brought me a cake. (Neat!)

I decided to give myself an AOL account for my birthday. (Tis about time I started trying to figure out the online world!)
