(Midnite) Erica stopped by and we had a long chat. (Neat!)
(Noon) My sister called and visited awhile. (She is doing well at college, but can’t decide what to major in. (Just about every job is ineligible because of her health problems.))
(9pm) Note from the ozone: Could western civilization’s obsession with the conscious mind be responsible for its obsession with the superficial? (Or, maybe, it’s the other way around?)

(3pm) My dad called and visited a little. (He is still planning on living to 100. (He just might make it!))

(7am) Note from the ozone: Another problem is our obsession with models. (Tis a flawed concept.) (Even language acts to disassociate us from the unconscious.) (Everything is interconnected with everything else, so there are an infinite number of variables to everything and that can’t be mapped or modeled.) (I see it in my work all the time. (i.e., we forget that numbers are nothing but symbols, behind which lie the lives of living breathing human beings.))
(7pm) Carrie called and visited awhile. (She is doing well in school and is getting a computer for Xmas.) (Things with her beau aren’t going well. (She is mostly content with it for now though. (Someone who shows up and plays, and then gets out of the way.)))-(She has also got a 21-year-old she calls occasionally.) (It sounds like the boys are getting close to being potty-trained. (That will make life a bit easier for her!))

(3pm) Carly stopped by and visited a bit. (She says their new excuse for no sex is that the kid sleeps with them every nite.) (She says Phoebe refers to her new beau as "whisky dick", because he is always too drunk to get it up.)

(3pm) Carly and Gwynn stopped by for a bit. (Gwynn drove over. (Won’t she ever learn?))
(10pm) Bryan spent the day at his brothers, so I cooked a big dinner and no one but me and D O showed up. (Oh well, I had fun pigging out!)
