(7am) Happy Halloween!
(8am) Erica stopped in to pick up the newspaper. (Neat!)
I am taking a couple days off. (I have to use a bunch of vacation time by 12-31 or lose it.)
(4pm) I got the living room and bedroom pretty much rearranged. (Better!)
(9pm) Erica stopped by for a bowl and a brew. (Neat!)
She likes the new arrangement. (Tis amazing how many permutations there are for laying out a room!) (I like the extra open space this layout gives.)

(Midnite) I only smoked one pack of cigs today. (Not good, but better than my normal three packs.)
(11pm) I meant to do more housekeeping today, but all I managed was six loads of laundry.
I managed to hold my consumption down to one pack again today.

(1pm) Carly and Ross stopped by looking for gambling coupons. (She says Phoebe wants me to start asking her out to dinner, movies and such. (That would be nice, but I can’t afford much of that yet.))
(3pm) Joe called. (It sounds like he is still drifting. (I can relate!)) (He is trying to make a snow tire for his bike. (It sounds like he has already had several wrecks lately.))

(1am) Well, only 11 cigs today. (Better!)
I did some more rearranging in the kitchen, but didn’t get much cleaning done.
Mostly today I read and watched tv.
(4pm) Erica stopped by and bs’d a bit. (Neat!)
She says Miranda and Joey are still fighting. (I hope they work it out!)
It sounds like Gwynn’s gambling habit is getting out of control. (She doesn’t seem to be able to do anything in moderation.)
