(Midnite) Happy birthday to me!
(11am) Erica stopped by to wish me a happy birthday. (Neat!)
(2pm) Carly and Gwynn stopped by to drop off birthday cards and pick up gambling coupons. (They say Phoebe is still planning on coming over here later.)-(I called her earlier and she said a friend came in from out of town last nite and they partied all nite.)
(9pm) Carrie called. (She is doing well! (Good for her!))
She thinks I have pushed Phoebe away. (Could be, but she has done some pushing away too. (She is afraid of men and I of women, and that may be too much to resolve. (It provides insight and understanding of the other’s behavior; but, lately, this hasn’t been associating pleasant experiences with dating and sexuality.)-(To overcome my phobia I need to break down my irrational fear, and the therapy is to learn new associations of happy times resulting from physical intimacy. (The last nine years I have worked on associating pleasant experiences with being with women and emotional intimacy; but eventually I need to move on to the rest.))-(I should probably date lots of women and learn about a variety of women, to give me a better perspective on that part of life.))) (Oh well, wait and see what happens.)
(10pm) My sister called. (It sounds like she is adapting to Oklahoma.) (She is going to get the carpal tunnel operation. (Hopefully that will help!))

She is getting more stressed out by her job!
(8pm) Joe stopped by to visit. (He was complaining about all the bullshit classes one needs for an undergraduate degree, and the mediocrity of most of the other students.)-(He is going to check into some of the better colleges and see if he can’t find someplace more demanding and rigorous.)

I was a bit depressed the past few days, but it seems to be passing. (Being stood up on my birthday was a bummer!)
