(9am) Samantha is still sleeping. (One problem with staying here is they are on a different schedule than me. (And, I sensed it bothered Leo some for me to be here while he is on the road.)) (Maybe I will try Carrie’s couch again on the next trip.)
Last nite we ordered pizza, played some cribbage, bs’d and watched some tv. We went for a long walk, after it got dark and checked out the moon.
(5pm) The trip back went well and we had a nice visit.
It sounds like Joe will be here for a year, but he wants to go to a better grad school in order to improve his marketability as a professor. (He is going to try to get a scholarship to a college in Europe for his master’s degree.)
He says Bryan wants to go to an expensive private college in Oregon. (He thinks Bryan has a good chance of getting a scholarship.)
We stopped at Carrie’s on the way out of town so I could wish her a happy birthday and she could meet Joe. (I took her some cup cakes.)
Joe says Bryan is into drama, cross county running, and track at school. (Tis good he is balancing studies with exercise!)
Carrie says I need to start meeting women I have a lot in common with. (Good idea, but tis easier said than done. (Between my radical opinions and hi sex drive, I don’t think there are many matches.))

(7am) Last nite I took Joe out to dinner. Then he took off to check out the downtown bars.
He is still sleeping, so I am trying to be quiet.
D O was chasing a mouse around the bathroom while I took my bath. (Yech!) (I hope she catches it soon!)
(6pm) Joe found an apartment and we got him moved in. (That worked out well!)-(Tis nice having my home back!)
(8pm) Erica stopped by and bs’d awhile. (Neat!)
She says she had a fun weekend at the fair! (Good for her!)
