(6pm) Miranda called. (Things are still frantic there!)

(11pm) I went to the Depot with the Rhino people and delivered all the reports for this year. (Great meal and plenty of whisky!) (Twas nice getting a break from my own cooking!)

They say that Wallace has been shut down. (How sad!) (I guess I will have to save for a trip to the brothels in Nevada.)

(5pm) Twas dentist day again. (Boo!)

I got a letter from Joe. (He says he is moving here to go to the university.) (He will be over in a couple weeks to make arrangements. (That will be interesting!)) (Hopefully Bryan will want to go to college here too!)

(10pm) Erica stopped by for some dominos. (Neat!)

It sounds like things are a mess in Anaconda.

She is still worrying about finding a job and is beating herself up a little. (Unemployment is tough on a person, on all sorts of levels!)

She has been trying to get a loan, but hasn’t had much luck. (I would cosign for her, but until I get my credit report cleaned up, my signature is worthless.)

I reminded her of the Chinese concept where one doesn’t dwell on problems one can do nothing about. (Put it in a box on the shelf and suggest to the unconscious that it sort threw the box and look for solutions.) (Tis hard to do sometimes, but tis much better than dwelling on things you can do nothing constructive about at the moment.)

The smoke situation is pretty bleak again. (I thought about running the grow room this year, but I decided not to risk it after the fiasco with June.)

(11pm) Erica stopped by and used the computer to type meeting minutes. (Neat!)

She complained again about how hot my apartment is. (I rarely even notice. (I don’t know if it’s because I grew up where it’s a lot hotter and more humid, or that I sweat so much and cool down that way.)) (Even so, I am ready for autumn!)

I had another Council committee meeting to go to tonite. (They finally got down to business and started making decisions.) (I will be glad when the budget is done!)
