It sounds like Miranda isn’t going to get into trouble, since she was out of town.
Erica says that June is claiming that she picked some guy up and called the police because she got scared of him.

I visited with the lawyer and he doesn’t seem too worried. (It looks like I will owe a couple grand, like I thought, unless she ignores the state attorney and decides to be irrational.)

(Noon) Laundry time again. (Yech!)
I got a letter from Samantha. (They will be here around 10pm Wednesday.)-(They are going to crash here. (Twill be nice to spend some time with people!))

I am going to have to get back to the Club soon! (Tis hard to get psyched up to go, but afterwards I am always glad I went!)

For some reason today I checked the want ads for the first time in three years. (I noticed a job opening at the university that looks good, so I am putting together an application.)

I got a letter from my dad, and then I called and visited with him. (It sounds like he is willing to help pay off the alimony.)
There is a message on my machine to call my lawyer. (I will check with him tomorrow.)
