(7pm) My dad sent some money for my birthday, so I got shirts, a sweater, socks, long underwear, new music and some blank tapes. (Nice!) (I considered a trip to Wallace or another x-rated movie, but opted for being practical again.)
Maybe I shouldnt feel too bad about turning 40. (Seven years ago people guessed I was in my 40s and now they guess 30s. (I have a ways to go, but I am taking better care of myself.))
I also caught up on my bills. (Pretty boring, but necessary.)
On the downside, the landlord sent a note saying the rent is going up $10 a month in December. (With the power bill, my housing cost in the winter is up to $300 a month.)
I have been pigging out and avoiding exercise this week. (Oh well, see the 30s out with a little fan fare.)
I got a birthday card from Carrie. (Neat!)

(7pm) Erica stopped by for a bowl and a brew. (Neat!)
I decided to take tomorrow off, so TGI a four-day weekend.
My women friends have had a definite influence on my wardrobe over the years. (I needed help with that and I really appreciate it!)

(6pm) Chores are finally done. (Yeah!)
I picked up a lite bar bell so I can do more work on building up my wrists and forearms. (I still worry about carpal tunnel syndrome, with all the time I spend working on computers; and I keep trying to think of ways to reduce the odds of having a problem with that.)
My 30s closed out appropriately. (Today I got a letter from the state saying I owe $12,000 in alimony, and they will be taking even more of my pay check soon. (Like with the child support, my ex has told the state that I never paid anything on the alimony, but I have already paid part of it to the Clerk of Court.)) (I hope there is a little more luck (and love) in my 40s!)

(8am) Happy birthday to me!
(3pm) I wrote my dad and sent him a copy of the letter from the state.
(8pm) My sister called and bsd awhile. (It sounds like things are pretty good there. (I am glad!))
