One upside of Erica coming on the Bozeman trip is I can let her drive, so I can party and enjoy the scenery.

(2pm) I ran into Carly and Ross at the grocery store. (The baby hasn’t arrived yet. (It sounds like they are both ready for the new arrival.))
They say Gwynn went to Butte. (Good for her!)
I got a letter from Samantha. (It sounds like she is getting everything ready for the wedding and the move to Harlowton.) (She hasn’t heard from Carrie, but one of Carrie’s neighbors is a friend of Leo’s. (She heard the operation was to remove a birthmark that could become cancerous.)-(It sounds like Carrie is still off cocaine, but she is still hanging out with that crowd.))

(4pm) I got a letter from my dad today. (He says he will pay my ex off, to settle the back alimony and child support. (I would still be paying the current child support, but it would be an improvement.))
Kids do have a tendency to be similar to their parents in some ways, and a stable environment changes things. (They are able to focus on other things besides the latest crisis.) (I suppose it’s that tendency that leads me to distrust my kids. (My ex was real deceitful and vengeful and …, and that could spill over.)-(If I can reach settlements on the back debts to her, I will have to make a few trips to Bozeman to see how they are doing.))
I noticed that most of the music I taped for Carrie’s birthday came out in the last few years. (Music had a strong connection for my ex to her time in the strip joints, so I didn’t listen to much music from ’73 to ’82.)-(She got most of my albums in the divorce, so I have kind of lost track of the music prior to my marriage.) (I experienced the ‘70’s music through following suggestions made by Carrie and Erica.) (Now I seem to be listening to new stuff.) (I wonder if I will ever get locked into one particular era or type of music?) (I like variety!)
